Laura Edgerly

I chose to be a graphic designer because I have a passion for communication problem solving. It’s exciting to start with an idea and create something tangible and useful.

My philosophy about graphic design is that it isn’t about the artist who creates it. It’s about creating solutions. Successful design meets the objectives of the customer by offering new ways to communicate their message and ultimately increase interest in their business or organization.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology and have had career experiences that range from print shops, to manufacturing and corporate marketing departments, to freelance.

I’m so grateful that my journey has brought me the opportunity to contribute to the cutting edge and dynamic team at Chroma Studios.

Facts About Me

  • Designers bring art into our everyday experiences.
  • I love traveling, history, and museums.
  • Gardening is also something I enjoy. Digging in the dirt and planting flowers is the opposite of graphic design. It’s physical, imprecise, and messy. But, like design, you have something beautiful to enjoy after all the work.
  • I’ve lived in eight different states throughout my life. I have the best husband, children and now grandson anyone could be blessed with.
