Strengthening Community Through Digital Partnerships

At Chroma Studios, our work has always been rooted in community. We live here, work here, and partner with organizations that make Greensburg and the greater Westmoreland County region their home.

Through Chroma Cares — a community initiative of Chroma Studios — we use our skills in design, technology, and storytelling to help our local mission-driven groups succeed in their service goals.

Whether it’s a nonprofit advocating for mental health, a cultural organization revitalizing downtown Greensburg, or a local initiative supporting small businesses, we believe every community-focused effort deserves professional digital support. This program is our commitment to giving back, not as a side project, but as an essential part of who we are.

Supporting Nonprofits & Mission-Driven Organizations

Nonprofits often operate with tight budgets and even tighter time. Chroma Cares ensures they don’t have to compromise on quality when it comes to their digital presence. We provide special nonprofit pricing, tailored guidance, and long-term support so organizations can stay focused on the work that matters most.

Our team has been proud to support community services throughout Westmoreland County, including those focused on:

  • Mental health advocacy
  • Historic and cultural preservation
  • Youth and family support
  • Arts and entertainment
  • Economic and small-business development
  • Social services and neighborhood outreach

Our involvement with the YWCA Westmoreland County is especially meaningful to us. We support their mission in honor of our beloved accountant, Cathy Caccia, who passed away in 2025. Her dedication to service and community continues to inspire our work every day.

Celebrating Arts, Culture & Downtown Greensburg

Greensburg’s arts and cultural scene is one of the region’s greatest strengths. Through Chroma Cares, we’ve partnered with organizations that bring creativity, education, entertainment, and beauty to our neighborhoods, including:

  • Westmoreland Museum of American Art
  • Westmoreland Cultural Trust
  • Shop Greensburg and downtown events

These collaborations help drive foot traffic, enrich community life, and support the local businesses that make downtown Greensburg a lively and welcoming destination.

Advancing Economic & Community Development

Community growth doesn’t happen in isolation. We partner with organizations that devote themselves to strengthening the local economy and supporting small business owners across the region.

Our work includes supporting groups such as:

  • Greensburg Community Development Corporation (GCDC)
  • Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce
  • Shop Greensburg small business initiatives

From digital education and promotional tools to web platforms and ongoing marketing support, these partnerships help cultivate a thriving environment for business owners, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals.

Community Projects We Champion

Chroma Cares extends beyond traditional nonprofit work. Our team is involved in ongoing initiatives that promote growth, learning, and connection throughout Westmoreland County.

Some of the community efforts we support include:

  • Shop Greensburg: Digital infrastructure and promotion for a unified local business network
  • AI & Digital Literacy Workshops: Helping small businesses and nonprofits understand and leverage new technologies
  • Chamber Ambassador & Committee Involvement: Strengthening professional networks and local business support
  • Web Accessibility and Usability Advocacy: Encouraging ADA-friendly, inclusive web design
  • Arts & Cultural Event Support: Enhancing visibility for concerts, exhibits, performances, and creative projects

This list will continue to evolve as we collaborate with new partners and identify additional ways to contribute.

Why Community Matters to Us

From Bethany Skwara, Client Solutions Director

“Community is where real impact begins. It’s the conversations you have with small business owners downtown, the nonprofits fighting for essential services, the arts organizations filling our region with culture and creativity. These aren’t just clients to us; they’re neighbors, collaborators, and the heartbeat of Westmoreland County.

Chroma Cares exists because we believe that when we support the organizations doing good work here, the entire community rises.”
